In a rapidly evolving energy landscape, it’s vital to ensure that housing remains affordable, sustainable and meets residents' needs. We’re committed to doing everything we can, including improving the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings of our homes, sourcing easy-to-use products and giving advice to save our customers money.
100% of the homes in our portfolios are rated EPC B or above.
Sustainable living is hugely important to our residents and the wider communities where we operate. That is why we are striving to decrease our operational carbon footprint as well as ensuring we minimise the environmental impact of our assets.

Given the growing risk of extreme weather events in the UK, we have expanded our flooding risk evaluation for all new homes to ensure we protect our assets, increase portfolio resilience and support our tenants.
Our customers are at the heart of our business and we’re dedicated to supporting the communities that we invest in. Living a more sustainable life and running a more sustainable home is high on our agenda.
Recent initiatives include an Alvesta Investment Management volunteering event at Bunhill Fields, where we cleared grounds and planted over 250 bulbs with Leaves Breathe – a not-for-profit that works to improve green spaces, especially areas with limited access to nature.
Our sustainability commitments are mapped against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aligning our business purpose with wider societal aims and supporting progress towards a more sustainable future.
